About me
Welcome to my homepage! My name is Anikó Kátai. Besides being a qualified lawyer, am a ceritified nutrition expert (Stanford Medicine – School of Health Education) and health coach (Free Style Consulting – Health Coach Academy), with a personal experience in losing about 80 pounds (35 kgs) in a healthy and sustainable way. This homepage was created to show you how I can help you to feel better both physically and mentally by healthy eating and exercising and by changing your lifestyle.

Nutrition counselling
After analyzing your physical needs and life circumstances, I elaborate for you a personalized and sustainable food plan, which you can fill with wholesome, nutritious foods day by day.
By following this guide you can make sure your body gets every nutrients necessary for its healthy functioning. This way you can experience the freedom from the need of counting calories or worry about what, when and how to eat or avoid.
Writing your food plan only takes one counselling session.
Health coaching
By screening through the four main areas affecting our physical and mental health (eating, excercising, lifestyle and mentality) I help you to recognize what prevents you to live a more healthy life and everything you can do in order to reach your health goals.
I navigate you through the flood of information, advice and marketing slogans. I encourage you to take the first steps on your journey and support you to consistently do the footwork necessary to reach your goals.
A health coaching process consists of 10 personalized coaching sessions held every two weeks.

Following a healthy, balanced diet, eating nurturing, wholesome foods is fundamental to our heath.
Excercizing
Enhancing and maintaining our physical condition is vital for preserving both our physical and mental health.
Lifestyle
Balance on various areas of our lives such as work, family and personal relations effects our health and well-being as well, just like the quality of our sleep and how we cope with stressful situations.
Mentality/Spirituality
The most severe stress factor one might suffer from is not feeling at home in the world – having the feeling as if we were living someone else’s life. When we are not able to let go everything we cannot change and we are not able to do what none else can do for us.
This is how I work
This is how I work as a nutrition expert
- After our inital conversation I will ask you to fill out the questionnaire on your health & eating habits.
- On your counselling session we’ll examine how your present diet and eating habits serve your health goals, what experience you have with them. I will also ask you about your eating & food preferences.
- Based on your replies to the questionnaire and on our conversation, I write your food plan and send it to you.
- We can review your food plan after two weeks in case you need it, otherwise you can follow it as long as it serves your health goals.
- The counselling session lasts for 50 minutes.

This is how I work as a health coach
- First we’ll have an hour-long initial, free-of-charge conversation where I tell you about the health coaching process and you can ask your questions.
- If you decide to start working with me, I send you a health history questionnaire.
- After having received your answers, we start working on defining and reaching your health goals on the basis of the four pillars of health coaching, which is eating, excercizing, lifestyle and mentality/spirituality.
- A health coaching process consists of 10 personalized coaching sessions, which last for 50 minutes each. Thus, the whole process lasts for about half a year. This is because our goal is to attain long term change since most probably you’ve reached out to me because quick fixes had not worked for you.
- One of the benchmarks of a successful health coaching process is whether you could incorporate your new skills into your daily life.

I have been benefiting Aniko’s coaching session throughout a period of 6 months. The time Aniko secured for me was my “safe heaven” for self-reflection, self-care and often my only not-rushed-through 60 minutes during the day. It has certainly made a huge impact on my overall wellbeing and I am very grateful for this. I understood the multiple benefits of coaching and most importantly the fact that it is a process that, I believe, enhances self-reflection and brings out our inner strengths through a comfortable well conducted dialogue. The sessions were full of “aha!” moments and helped me also to reflect on how can I pass this knowledge on to others with whom I am working on a daily basis.
Aniko’s professional approach, clear communication, structured but at the same time flexible way of conducting the dialogues made me fully comfortable for reflecting, engaging as well as being receptor and at the same time owner of the process. I particularly liked the fact that the sessions were not “rushed through” but Aniko kept adequate time for my reflections, encouraged me to develop additional aspect of a reflection and often times referred back to and built on comments I made in previous sessions. It made these encounters always very specific and fit to my personal journey. Aniko’s approach helped me to build on my personal strengths, contributed towards gaining practical tools in everyday situations and increased my confidence in targeted work-related situations.
